Gibson Needs Outdoor Home

This handsome, 8-year-old boy needs to find a new home and family to call his own.

Gibson is an outdoor dog who needs a lot of room to run and play. He'll also need a proper shelter to keep him warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Paws for Adventure Spring Break Day Camp

Registration is now open for Spring Break Day Camp.

Camp runs from March 29 - April 1 for children aged 7 to 11. Register for as many days as you like!

Incoming Animals

Between Feb. 22 and 28, 117 animals came through our doors.

Of those, 92 were cats, 22 were dogs and 3 were other small pets and wildlife.

Winnipeg Pups Transferred to Edmonton

A crucial animal transfer was completed this week when a truck load of Winnipeg Humane Society puppies were picked up and brought to the Edmonton Humane Society in an attempt to find homes for the puppies as soon as possible.

The Manitoba Liberal Party has introduced Bill 218 (commonly referred to as Fluffy's Law) that will deem no pet clauses in tenancy agreements null and void.

Help Haiti

If you would like to make a donation to help the animals in Haiti, please visit the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) website.

They are currently collecting money for their emergency relief team's Haiti relief mission. Your donation will help buy supplies for their mobile veterinary clinic.
