Paws for Adventure Camp
Summer and Spring Break Day Camps
Summer is a blast at The WHS with our Paws for Adventure Day Camp! The camp gives children a chance to learn about animals and responsible pet ownership. We provide a look into our shelter and show campers how we help animals here find new and happy homes. With age-appropriate crafts, games, workshops and tons of fun activities, The WHS will help your child make the most of their time away from school.
New: Pre Paws for Adventure Camp for campers aged 4-7.
Specifics:
- This camp is for children aged 7 to 11. We do have specific dates that gear activities towards children up to 13 years old. Please call for more information.
- The fee is $35 each day or $130 for the 4-day week camp
- Pre-registration is required so call soon! (We are limited to 24 children each day.)
- 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Camper supervision provided from 8:15 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
- Campers need to wear comfortable, practical clothes, enclosed shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing.
- Remember to bring a bag lunch, snacks and a beverage. (Paws for Adventure is a nut-free camp.)

Registration is normally completed over the phone with payment by credit card. Other arrangements can be made in consultation with WHS education staff.
*We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
**Refunds will be offered when cancellation occurs a minimum of three weeks before the first registered camp day. A $15 processing fee is applied to any refunds.
Please note that our day camp programs are geared to children who are able to participate in group activities. We are not equipped to provide one-to-one supervision for children and may not be able to accommodate children with challenging special needs or behavioural issues.
