Ways to Donate

Every year an amazing number of individuals, community groups, schools and businesses host a variety of special events with the proceeds from these initiatives going to The WHS.

If you are interested in holding a Social, Garage sale, Golf tournament, Car wash, BBQ or another fun-filled event and would like the proceeds to go to The WHS. Please call us and we’ll help you work through the details. No event is too small or too big for The WHS.

WHS Wedding Favours

Not sure what to have as your wedding favours at your upcoming nuptials? Support your furry friends at The WHS and your problem is solved!

Donate to The WHS in lieu of Wedding Favours and we will provide you with our WHS Wedding Table Cards. Your guests will appreciate a donation made in their honour.

Paws for the Cause and help the animals!

You can raise funds and awareness for the WHS and collect items needed for the shelter. It’s easy! It’s fun and it’s limited only by your imagination.

Smooch for the Pooch

For a fun and different way to get the bride and groom to kiss at the wedding reception, try Smooch for the Pooch! For each donation received in the "fish bowl" or "piggy bank", the couple will kiss - a kiss to melt any animal lover's heart!

Dress Down for the Hound

Office casual days are a great way to get casual while helping the animals!
These businesses raised money or awareness for the animals through office casual days, company BBQs, golf tournaments, community outreach days, raffles, ticket sales and by hosting a special event.
