WHS Tours and Field Trips

DYK: The Winnipeg Humane Society is not just a shelter. From a full clinic to a pet shop, so much more goes into supporting the animals in our care and community.

Our Community Outreach Department is pleased to offer shelter tours and field trips for children, youth, and community groups to learn more about the work that makes the WHS what it is and how it helps.

Only have an hour? A shelter tour is just for you! For $65 your group gets to experience a detailed shelter tour. Learn all about the different departments, facts about our animals, and of course, visit some of our adorable adoptables!

Have some more time? Field trips give your group the best of both worlds, the same behind-the-scenes look at our shelter and a chance to experience and learn from our Empathy for All Living Things presentation. Field trips also include animal interaction and a fun, interactive activity related to the presentation topic! Field trips are two and a half hours long and are $180.
