As we say goodbye to March, we also wrap up our Spring Break Kids Camp, which was a huge hit this year. We welcomed 50 campers for the week-long event!

At this year’s Spring Break Kid Camps, campers enjoyed special guest presentations from Wildlife Haven, Manitoba Ferret Association, Little Red Barn, and Border Security. The wonderful group of young humane heroes also learned about different animal welfare topics, responsible pet ownership, and what the different departments here at the Winnipeg Humane Society do.

If you missed signing your child up for Spring Break Kid Camps, no need to worry! Our Summer Kid Camps are just as exciting and we’re already planning to make this year even bigger!

Throughout our Summer Kid Camps, we teach our campers about animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, the five freedoms and empathy for all living things in an interactive and entertaining environment. Campers will enjoy special guest presentations and participate in many enjoyable crafts, games, and activities.

The WHS will ensure your child makes the most of their time away from school, and most importantly, build empathy towards animals in a fun and memorable way.

We’d love for your child to join us and learn more about everything the WHS does to promote animal welfare and how we help over 10,000 animals each year. By educating our young campers, we are laying the foundation for a generation of more considerate, empathetic animal advocates. How cool is that?!

Registration for Summer Kid Camps is now OPEN! Spots are limited to 50 kids each week, so BOOK your spot today.
