Our Humane Educators and Animal Welfare Specialists are enthusiastic about teaching everyone the importance of having empathy for all living things.
Our Empathy for All Living Things series is a unique, small group setting, where individuals get to interact with a Winnipeg Humane Society behaviour assessed dog in order to foster a better understanding of empathy towards animals and people all while learning about our nine (9) specialized sessions which can be taken consecutively or individually. This is an excellent resource for individuals who could benefit from sessions focusing on topics such as safe interactions, intelligence, basic & emotional needs, personal space, conflict, relationships, stress & emotions, selfcare of people & animals, and loss & grief.
The series is designed by qualified teachers and animal welfare specialists. The goal of this program is to encourage and enhance our animal safety, and to nurture a responsible, empathetic attitude toward all living things.
Sessions are booked for 1-hour timeslots at $45/session.
