Decoding Dinner: The Current State of Farm Animal Welfare in Manitoba

The focus of the talk will be on the state of legislation/regulatory codes to protect farm animals in our province, and analyze its efficacy. The talk will also touch on what this means to consumers as various companies now try to market its products as ‘cage free’, ‘without gestation crates’ and more.
Brittany Semeniuk is a Veterinary Nurse who has utilized her career to improve animal welfare across the globe, with special interest in farm animal rescue and advocacy.
