Join the Winnipeg Humane Society’s Animal Compassion Team as they host Canadian icon Jann Arden, alongside the Canadian Horse Defence Coalition via zoom, on Tuesday February 2nd at 7pm CST.

Did you know that Canada exports roughly 4,000 horses for slaughter every single year? Did you know that 1/3 of those horses are exported out of Winnipeg’s very own James Armstrong Richardson International Airport?

Join Jann Arden as she lends her voice to the plight of Canada’s horses, and learn what you can do to help. Alongside Jann, the Canadian Horse Defence Coalition will shed light on Canada’s shameful horse exportation industry, while answering questions that attendees may have about this lucrative industry.
